Himation

The himation is a Vêtement of the ancient Greece.
It is full and enveloping like a kind of Châle. It goes to same the body or on a Chitôn. It is draped or rolled up on a shoulder and does not comprise fastener with the difference of the Chlamyde.
The same roll of material carried as a coat takes sometimes the name of Pallium .
