Heuston Station

Heuston Station is one of the two principal stations of Dublin. The station is the departure/terminus of the lines in direction of the south, the south-west and the west of the Ireland. Heuston Station is managed by Iarnród Éireann, the national operator of the rail-bound transports in Ireland. The principal deposit of technical maintenance is located at nearly 3 km of the station on the site of Inchicore. Heuston Station is connected to Connolly Station, the other large station of Dublin, by the red line of the Luas the tram dublinois. There exists also a railway connecting Heuston to Connolly via Islandbridge Station, but it 'is used that for transport of freight. In the beginning Heuston Station was called Kingsbridge Station . It open in 1844 and was re-elected in 1966 in homage to Sean Heuston died at the time of the Insurrection of Easter 1916 and which had worked in the railroads. The station was recently renovated. One integrated into it a commercial gallery with stores and coffees restaurants.
