Henry Agard Wallace (October 7th 1888 – November 18th 1965) was the 33e vice-president of the United States under the mandate of Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1941– 45) until in 1944, date on which the party draws aside it because of its convictions too progressists and entrusts the candidature of the vice-presidency to Harry S. Truman.
He also exerted the functions of Secretary to agriculture (1933– 40) and of Secretary to the trade (1945– 46). It was presented in the form of a candidate of the party progressist to the presidential elections of 1948.
Several writings of Wallace were translated into Italian during the fascistic mode, in the effort to show that the interventionism of Roosevelt had something with fascistic corporatism in common. Mussolini itself wrote a report of " Che cosa vuole America? " by Wallace in the newspaper of the fascistic party, " It popolo of Italia".
