Henri Pichette

Henri Pichette (Chateauroux, January 26th 1924 - October 30th 2000) is a writer, Poète and Dramaturge French.

Born from a father of Québécois origin and from a mother nîmoise, it had a rather animated childhood. He writes his first poems in 1943 and, war correspondent during the countryside of the the Rhine to the the Danube, begins the Apoèmes in 1945.

He takes part in the release of Marseilles in 1944. He meets Paul Éluard, Antonin Artaud and Max-pol. Fouchet which helps it to publish its poems. In 1947, Gerard Philippe and Maria Casarès her part the Epiphanies create.

Henri Pichette contributed to several reviews: French Letters , the Mercure de France , Spirit .
