  • Gerberge, (913 - May 5th, 969 according to certain sources, or 984 according to others), married to Gislebert de Lotharingie, then with Louis {{IV}} of Overseas, king de France.
  • Otton {{II}} of Saxony, (November 23rd, 912 - May 7th, 973), which becomes emperor under the name of Otton {{Ier}} '' Large the ''.

He deals with restoring the monarchical authority on the whole of the dukes of Germanie and pushing back the invasions. He takes again the Danish walk in north; he contains the Slaves on the Elba; he intervenes in Bohemia, attaches the Lotharingie into 925. He strengthens the castles of the south of Germanic and reorganizes the army. He is finally victorious Hungarian. He inaugurates the Drang nach Osten . His/her daughter Hedwige of Saxony (922 - 965), with her husband Hugues Large the, has as wire Hugues Capet, like Otton and Eudes-Henri, which becomes dukes of Burgundy. Henri 1st of Saxony is thus to be at the origin of the two dynasties which will reign on the Germany and the France during most of the thousand-year-old IIe, since he is the father of Otton {{Ier}}, first emperor of the Holy roman Empire, and the grandfather of Hugues Capet, founder of the dynasty capétienne.
