Helen of Troy is a film American realized by Robert Wise and left in 1956.

Synopsis

The prince Troyen Pâris leaves Troy to meet, as an ambassador, the king Ménélas of Sparte in order to ensure the peace of his people. But its ship sinks and it succeeds in reaching the Greek coast with the stroke. Helene, the woman of Ménélas, finds it with end of force on the beach. It looks after it in secrecy and is not long in falling in love from there. Before meeting Ménélas, Pâris must yield with the habits and face Ajax in a singular combat which it leaves brilliantly victorious. Ménélas sees at once in him a dangerous doubled adversary of a large rival and the fact of imprisoning. Helene, surprised whereas it prepared the escape from her lover, flees with him in Troy. Its treason, in addition to which it ridicules Ménélas, immediately starts an enormous offensive movement of the Greeks who embark in mass for the Trojan War…

Brigitte Bardot: I end up taking down a role in an American film, Helen of Troy , with Rossana Podesta. I was to play his slave. My English was poor and my trac formidable. The day of the tests, there were 80 candidates. I learned my role on the end from the fingers, I did not even know what I said, but I said it with as well insurance as I was selected. Without the knowledge, I had put my little finger in the large gears of the American spectaculars. There, one does not joke! I learned, with much evil, the discipline and English. Being allergic to both, I regarded this film as a kind of military service! Was American was charming, but why necessary to lift itself to a height of 5 a.m. to start to turn to 9? My philosophy of work amused them, they were charmed small “french girl” and were to say it beyond the large ocean.
