Heidelberg is a town of Germany located in the valley of the Neckar, in the North-West of the Land of Bade-Wurtemberg. The name of " heidelberg" perhaps would come from heidelbeere which want to say Myrtille in German (will heidelbeera into Alsatian haut-rhinois and heidelbeer into Alsatian bas-rhinois) and from berg which means mountain, hill. This etymology would inform us then about the bilberry growths which would evolve/move on the slopes of the city (or then on one of the outstanding episodes of its history).
