Headlight of Sénéquet

The headlight of Sénéquet is on the rock of the same name to 5 km with broad of Gouville. It is a construction out of apparent stones painted in white, with base and lantern in black.

History

In 1861, lighting of a red fixed light of 3° order on the truncated turret
In 1897, fire is replaced by a white and red fire with 3 screenings all the 18 S.
In 1938, transformation on fire with 3 occulations all the 12 S, with a food with the gas propane.
In 1942, optics is destroyed.
In 1948, relighting of a fire with 3 glares 12 S.

Current headlight

It was modified by the disassembling of its lantern, in 1981.

It is fed by Aérogénérateur since its autonomisation.
