Hasil Adkins

Hasil Adkins (to pronounce Hassil) (April 29th 1937 - April 26th 2005), pioneer of the Punk Rock'n'roll, man orchestrates, was a Musicien of country, Rock-and-roll, Blues although its music was often regarded as Rockabilly and even like primitive Jazz.

He is born in the county from Boone in Western Virginia, or he will reside all his life during, close to Madison. Wire of a coal minor, he is the youngest child of a family of ten children, he was at the same time severely depressive and hyperactive.

Child, it hears one day Hank Williams with the radio and is persuaded that this last is all alone to make " all this boucan". Thus is born its One man band. He plays of all at the same time at the time of his performances: Guitare, battery, Harmonica, Chant (and Vodka if one believes of it the booklet of sound abum Achy Breacky ha ha ha).

Its hyperactivity results in a creativity out of the commun run. It composed more than 7000 songs and was able of all to play them like 2000 resumptions of memory. Most known are " She said" , " Chicken walk" , " We got has date" , " I' m happy" or " No more hot dogs". The recurrent themes of its work are the love, the rupture, death, the police force, the meat limps about it, the aliens, the guitar, the chickens and decapitation. In one of its songs he announces with his boyfriend that he goes shine to cut the head (and to hang it to its wall) so that it cannot eat hot-dogs any more.

He was the creator of two transitory dances: Hunch (" recroquevillement") and Chicken Walk (Kind of Dance of sexualized ducks). It also took part in several films (see low).
