Handling

The handling is a badly defined expression, describing the road behavior of a vehicle (Automobile or Motocyclette primarily).

This expression tries to describe if the reactions of a vehicle to the road accidents (bumps, holes, turns, etc) is healthy or in conformity with waitings of the driver.

A certain number of phenomena can enter in account:

Geometry of the vehicle

  • footing
  • drives out
  • pinching
  • set
  • way

Suspensions

  • hardness of the Spring S
  • quality of the damping
  • distribution of the pneumatic masses
    • dimensions (width, height, etc)
    • pressure
    • form
    • sculptures
    • gum

Motricity
