  • Antoine Legendre: Born about 1590 with the Vaudreuil, chaplain of the king Louis XIII, controller of the orchards of his Majesty, and cleaned of Hénouville of 1622 to 1659. Author of Manner of cultivating the fruit trees (1652).
  • Antoine Corneille, brother of Pierre Corneille, and friend of Antoine Legendre, would be the author of a poem entitled the Presbytery of Hénouville (1642).
  • Jean-François of Bellay of Resnel (1692-1761), member of the French Academy (1742), had grounds there.
