Gulf-Juan is a Seaside resort of the Riviera which does not have row of commune. The locality draws its name from the Golfe Juan which bathes it (in occitan Gòuf Joan).
The locality of Gulf-Juan belongs to the commune of Vallauris, Arrondissement of Fatty, department of the the Alpes-Maritimes, area Paca, France. Vallauris avoids remainder sometimes name of Vallauris-Gulf-Juan in which only the first element is official. The locality is served by a station or rather a halt of railroad bearing the name of Gulf-Juan-Vallauris or Golfe Juan - Vallauris .
The personality of Gulf-Juan is sufficiently marked to have a Gentilé since its inhabitants are called the Gulf-Juanais .
Napoleon i unloaded on March 1st 1815 with Gulf-Juan coming from the isle of Elba at the beginning of the Hundred Days.
Gulf-Juan should not be confused with another called seaside resort Juan-the-Pines and which belongs to the common neighbor of Antibes.
