The Griffith Observatory is a building of Los Angeles, in California, with the the United States of America builds in 1935. Located on the southern face of the Hollywood Mount in the Griffith Park at 300 meters of altitude, it is an appreciated place of the tourists and inhabitants of the city for its scientific exposures, its Planétarium and the panorama which it gives on all the area going of the downtown area of Los Angeles until the Baie of Santa Monica and the Pacific Ocean.
The building, of style Art déco and Egyptian, was recently renovated and reopened its doors on November 2nd, 2006 at the end four years of work. 70 million people visited the observatory since its opening. Lastly, it appears in several films among which Fury of living (1955), GoldenEye (1995) and Drôles ladies 2.
