Great Remonstrance

December 1st, 1641, the chief of the parliamentary opposition, John Pym, makes vote the Grande Remonstrance (The Grand Remonstrance), exposed objections and requirement of a control on the executive (royalty). So it makes the rupture inevitable. The next January 5th, Charles 1 {{er}} tries to make stop five deputies, of which Pym and Hampden for high treason.
