Grand Prix of literature of the French Academy
The Grand Prix of literature is a Literary prize French, created in 1911, decreed each year by the French Academy . The handing-over of this price was annual until 1979, date from which it became biennial.
Financed by the foundation Métais-Larivière, this price is intended to crown the set of a literary work, and for this reason distinguishes an author for the together from its work . It is given in alternation with the Grand Prix of literature Paul Morand.
