Government Salam Fayyad of June 2007

The June 15th 2007, following the Tensions interpalestiniennes and with the taken Gaza Strip by the Hamas, President Mahmoud Abbas dismisses the Palestinian government of national union and appoints the economist and politicking " indépendant" Salam Fayyad to form a new Palestinian cabinet which must make apply the state of emergency.

The new government of the Palestinian Autorité lends oath the June 18th to Ramallah in the West Bank and is tiny room 11 ministers who are affiliated neither to Hamas nor in Fatah.

  • the Prime Minister, Salam Fayyad, also cumulates the functions of Minister for Finance (station that it occupied already) and the Foreign affairs

  • Abdelrazak Al-Yahya, Minister of Interior Department
  • Mohammad Hassouneh, Ministre for the Economy, Work public and Télecoms
  • Riyadh Al-Malki, Ministre for Information and Justice
  • Fathi Moughli, Ministre for Health
  • Lamis Al-Almi (woman), Ministre for Education and the Culture
  • Ziad Al-Bandak, Ministre for the Local government agencies and Agriculture
  • Samir Abdallah, Minister for Labor and plan
  • Ashraf Al-Ajrami, Minister for the Prisoners, Sports and Youth
  • Khouloud Douaibess (woman), Minister for Tourism (station which it occupied already) and for the Female condition
  • Jamal Bawatneh, Ministre for the Religious affairs and social
  • Mashhour Abou Daqqa, Ministre for Transport

Among these ministers, there are 2 women. Also, only the ministers assigned to Finances and Tourism are not changed compared to the preceding government. All these personalities are independent and unknown personalities on the Palestinian political scene.
