Synopsis

James Bond is charged to make pass to the West, Tatiana Romanova, agent of the Russian Figure, which promises in exchange to give to the MI6 the Lektor decoder.

    • the outboard motor boats stalled non-stop because the assistants had poured kerosene in the gasoline résevoirs while the actress Daniel Bianchi (Tatiana) suffered from the sea sickness. On average, the team obtained 30 seconds of images usable over one 13 hours day.
    • These difficulties obliged the realizer Terence Young to leave Pendik. The end of the race-continuation was thus turned a few weeks later on the Scottish coasts. There, the cascades in boat were coordinated by Peter Twiss, an old driver of the Royal Air Force, which was the first British to exceed the wall of the sound.
