Gombert castle

Château Gombert is a district of the 13th district of Marseilles.

It is also the name of the Technopôle located within its limits (at 5 minutes of the station subway of the Rose). Several industrialists settled there and of the lesson in the scientific discipline (Mathématiques, Microélectronique, Informatique, Civil engineering and Mécanique) there are exempted.

One finds there in particular:

  • the CMI (Center of Mathematics and Data processing), a department of the University of Provence.
  • the IMT (Mediterranean Institute of Technologies)
  • the University Polytechnic school of Marseilles
  • the Central School of Marseilles
