Initial Public Offering is an English term which one can translate by “going public of a company”, “first public call to the saving” or “initial public offering”.
This operation is led by a Société of purse and by various councils (Banquier of businesses, Conseil in financial communication, Auditors, Business lawyer,…)
Motivations of a IPO
The reasons which push the companies to carry out a IPO are the following ones:- To obtain new funds
- To decrease the Cost of the capital
- To offer a liquidity to the current shareholders
