Glenn Luther Martin

Glenn Luther Martin (January 17th 1886 - December 5th 1955) was a pioneer of the aviation which set up the Glenn L. Martin Company, which later became part of Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin today. Martin gave money to the Université of Maryland to College Park, creating Glenn L. Martin Institute off Technology, which includes the school dingeniery. The wind tunnel of the university also bears the name of Martin.
