Glenn Anderson
Glenn Anderson (born the October 2nd 1960 with Vancouver in the province of the Colombia-British in Canada) is a former professional player of Hockey. It gained with six recoveries the Coupe Stanley supreme trophy of the National league of hockey and gained two medals (money and gold) with the team of Canada.
Career in club
It begins its career in the league junior of its province, the British Columbia Junior Hockey League in 1977 and it also plays during this season in the Western Canada Hockey League with the Bruins de New Westminster. He plays however one match with Bruins then joined the Université of Denver and the university championship.During the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey, it is chosen by the Oilers d' Edmonton and integrates their manpower the following season. There remain ten seasons within the frankness and gain the Coupe Stanley in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 and 1990.
Following these five Stanley cuts, it leaves in company of Grant Fuhr within the Maple Leafs Toronto. It passes a little more than two seasons in with Maple Leafs exceeding the symbolic mark of the {{formatnum: 1000}} points. It takes part in the progression of Maple Leafs until the semi-final of conference of the eliminatory Séries 1993. The following season, it joined the Rangers of New York in return of Mike Gartner little time before the commencement of the series. It gains its sixth Stanley Cut thus by beating the Canucks of Vancouver.
Unfortunately for him, following this last victory, he does not play almost any more the following seasons passing of Rangers to the Blues then turning over with Oilers for an end of the season 1995-96. He also plays in championships European Élites (in Germany for the Augsburger Panther, in Finland with the team of Lukko Rauma) and he puts an end to his career in 1997 with two achievements of the 500 marked goals in career.
Transactions
Anderson was mixed with the following transactions:- September 19th 1991: it leaves the Oilers d' Edmonton, in company of Grant Fuhr and Craig Berube to join the Maple Leafs of Toronto in return of Vincent Damphousse, Peter Ing, Scott Thornton and Luke Richardson.
- March 21st 1994: before the commencement of the series, in company of Scott Malone and of a choice of 4th round of fishing out of 1994, it leaves Maple Leafs for the Rangers of New York in return of Mike Gartner.
- February 13rd 1995: it is signed as a free agent by the Blues of Saint-Louis.
- January 22nd 1996: it joined as a free agent the Canucks of Vancouver but will never play with them since three days later, the Oilers d' Edmonton recover it.
- March 12th, 1996: Oilers put it in ballotage and it joined the Blues.

International career
It represents the team of Canada at the time of the competitions following:- Go “87 (series of matches against the the USSR)
- Coupe Canada 1984 and in 1987. Canadian gains the competition each time.
- Championship of the world in 1995 and 1996. It then gains respectively the bronze medal and of money.
- Winter Olympics of 1980. Canadian is eliminated at the conclusion of the first turn.
