Gil Kane

Eli Katz (born on April 6th 1926 with Riga in Latvia; died on January 31st 2000 in Florida with the the United States), was a draftsman of comic whose career was spread out years 1940 at the years 1990 and who worked under the name of Gil Kane and on certain occasions of Scott Edwards .

One owes him the drawing of the costumes of Green Lantern, the drawing of the second costume of Mar-vell (1969-70), the illustration of important episodes of Spiderman: of which an account showing the ravages of the drugs ( Amazing Spiderman #96-98, 1971) and that telling the death of Gwen Stacy ( Amazing Spiderman #121-122, 1973). He is the author of the first Roman American graph: Blackmark (119 pages, 1971). He died of the complications of a cancer.
