Gibet de Montfaucon
The Gibet of Montfaucon was the main thing gibet kings of France in the North of Paris, on an eminence close to the road to Meaux (current street theBeautiful ones) and place of the Colonel-Fabien. It was set up there at the request of Enguerrand de Marigny which was hung there. It is destroyed in 1760.

1572 : The body of Gaspard de Châtillon, count de Coligny, Admiral de France, which is killed during the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre is exhibé with the gibet of Montfaucon, hung by the feet.
