George NR. Gillett Jr.
George NR. Gillett Jr. (born the October 22nd 1938 with Root in the Wisconsin) is the founder president of Booth Creek Management Corp., an investment company which manages acquisitions and the interests of the Gillett family in a multitude of companies, of which the Club of Canadian hockey, team of Hockey of the National league of hockey, and the Center Bell, them skating rink, of which it became purchaser on January 31st 2001, and the Groupe Spectacles Gillett. Impassioned sports since its childhood, in addition to having the Canadian of Montreal, on February 6th 2007, Gillet became purchaser of FC Liverpool, an English team of Football.
The Gillett family also has interests in:
- Swift and Company (important protein supplier);
- Snowball Foods and Kings Delight (transformer of products of the poultry);
- BC Natural Foods (manufacturer of natural and biological proteinic products);
- Wheat Montana Farms & Bakery (producing of corn without chemical agent);
- Booth Creek Ski Holdings Inc. (has and exploits six centers of ski to the the United States);
- Several courses of Golf;
- Great Northern Bark and Sierra Organics (manufacturing of products of landscape installation);
- Various concessionary cars with the Colorado.
Gillett works as President of the council and administrator of the majority of these companies, in addition to sitting within the council of Vail Banks Inc. Gillett is also member of the Office of the governors of the National league of hockey and the board of directors of CHC Helicopter Corporation. It made its studies with the Amherst College of the Massachusetts, and obtained a diploma of the Dominican College, Root, in Wisconsin, in 1961. At the end of its studies, it took down its first employment with the Société Crown Zellerbach in the field of the sale.
