GeocronologÃa
The Vertus form a central concept of the universe of the series of Video games Ultima. Inspired by the codes of Knighthood of the Middle Ages, by the eightfold path Buddhist, they form a philosophical system presented as the base of the imaginary company of Britannia. The player, incarnating the Misadventure, is introduced like the incarnation of these virtues, which it must follow, respect or defend.
Curiously, the Magician of OZ also plays a big role in the creation of the system of the Virtues; as Richard Garriott indicated it, creator of the series Ultima, three companions of Dorothy Gale which can be connected to the three principles: the scarecrow (Truth), the tin man (Love), and the timorous lion (Courage).
