Gavin Menzies
Gavin Menzies , born in 1937, is a former commander of submarine of the Royal Navy and author of a book exposing the thesis of a discovery by China of the various continents well before Europeans.
By research, it tends to show that the China organized great maritime forwardings between 1421 and 1423 which led several Chinese navigators to discover and trade with India, Africa or Arabia but also to discover the coasts of Australia, America and the Antarctic. According to Menzies, Europeans thereafter could have Chinese information collected during these forwardings, mainly of the sea charts, before the Grandes Discoveries.
It exposed its theses in a test, 1421, the year when China discovered America (left in London in 2004 pennies the title 1421, The Year China discovered the World ). But its theses are very disputed and discussed.
