GameSpot is a Web site treating Video game, launched in May 1996 and created by Pete Deemer, Vince Broady, and Jon Epstein.

GameSpot presents the Video game, the Logiciel and the Computer material through tests, previews, remote loadings, news and other information. After having started independently, GameSpot was bought by ZDNet. Later, ZDNet itself was bought by Hundred Networks, which currently has GameSpot.
