Gaize

The gaize is a sedimentary Roche of origin Silice uses, with fine grain, porous.

Often fossiliferous, it can contain a carbonated and argillaceous fraction. The silicified beaches are often diffuse. Silicification results from the impregnation of porosity by colloidal Silice, of type Opale.
