Gaetano Bresci
Gaetano Bresci (November 10th, 1869 with Coiano di Prato, Italy - May 22nd, 1901 with the penitentiary of Santo Stefano, Italy) is a Anarchiste Italian author of the assassination of the king d' Italie Humbert 1 {{er}}.
It is born on November 10th, 1869 in Coiano di Prato in Toscane in a country family. It returns very young person in textile industry while working in a spinning mill. It then starts to attend the anarchistic mediums of Prato. It is first once condemned to 15 days of prison for " insult and refusal to obey to the force publique" what will be worth to him to be card-indexed like dangerous anarchist and to be réincarcéré in 1895 on the island of Lampedusa following the laws Crispi. Amnestied at the end of 1896 it does not manage to find work and decides to emigrate in the United States.
Arrived at New York on January 29th, 1898 it moves then in Paterson in the New Jersey where it works in textile industry. There it finds a strong anarchistic community among the émigrés.

In 1898 vis-a-vis the riots against the rise of the prices, the general Dribbled Beccaris made shoot with the gun at crowd with Milan and engages a bloody repression. Bava Beccaris is then decorated by the king with Italy Humbert Ier. From this moment Gaetano Bresci decides to avenge the rioters and the victims for this repression by killing the roi.
It thus turns over to Italy and on July 29th 1900, at the time of a visit of Humbert Ier with Monza, it cuts down it of three blows of revolver.
It is stopped and judged on August 29th in Milan. Defended by the lawyer Francesco Merlino who avoids the capital punishment to him, he is condemned to the forced labors with the penitentiary of Santo Stefano. One will find it hung in his cell on May 22nd, 1901, probably assassinated.
