Created by Josh Schwart and Stephanie Savage ( Newport Beach ), GOSIP Girl is true a guilty pleasure , a series which one likes to look for the pleasure and not really to reflect. It is adapted novels for teenagers of Cecily von Ziegesar. It belongs to the series of the re-entry 2007 on The CW. ---- differences with the bookMany a characters of the book is absent in the series such as Cyrius Pink, the father-in-law of Blair=Olivia; his/her half-brother Aaron Pink; Wells the best friend of Jenny elects; Ruby, the sister of Vanessa; as well as the always battered pals of Nate: Jeremy, Antony and Charlie. (Perhaps those will appear T they in the next seasons?)
Some elements are also in contradiction with the novel such as the physique of Jenny: thread-like blonde with the smooth hair, copies miniature of Serena. She appeared in the book like small brown with beautiful English loops and a very developed chest; what was worth besides some adventures to him and an unquestionable attraction by the male characters.
- Vanessa when it has, became beautiful mongrel which gave up its cranium shaved for pretty buckled hair.
- daN does not leave any more with Vanessa but with Serena! It does not seem any more accro with the coffee, cigs and poems morbid. It is a boy more on him which replaces the artist tortured with the black thoughts.
- Serena appears much nicer and naive that in the novel. It is the adorable girl on whom Blair spits her venom. This one when with it is a true hateful bitchy girl who forgot the side Audrey Hepburn.
- When in Nate, it is a calm and soft boy always very clean on him (perfect copy of the " Ken"), it does not seem much any more to touch with drug. It has many concern but his/her Blair boyfriend does not seem to worry some, too occupied by her own person.
- And great surprise, Chuck will appear as somebody who has heart, in love stiff? …
