Friuli Isonzo Pinot Nero

The Friuli Isonzo Pinot Nero is a red Wine Italian of the area Venezia equipped with a name DOC. since March 25th, 1988. Only to DOC. the red wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in Province of Gorizia in the communes of Romans of Isonzo, Gradisca d' Isonzo, Villesse, San Pier d' Isonzo, Turriaco, Medea, Moraro, Mariano del Friuli and partly the communes Cormons, Capriva del Friuli, San Lorenzo Isontino, Monfalcone, Mossa, Gorizia, Fogliano Redipuglia, Farra d' Isonzo, Savogna d' Isonzo, Sagrado, Ronchi dei Legionari, San Canzian d' Isonzo and Staranzano.

Organoleptic characteristics

  • color : not very intense red ruby
  • odor : characteristic,
  • savor : dryness, pleasant, slightly bitter (amarognolo)

The Friuli Isonzo Pinot Nero is tasted at a temperature from 14 to 16 °C and it will keep 2 - 4 years.
