Freenews

Freenews.fr is a Internet site created in December 2003 by Olivier Rosello. It is published by Freenews association.

It is the first site to treat topicality of the freenautes (subscribers with the operator Internet Free) and Freebox.

Via publicities, Freenews.fr is the primary source of financing of Freenews association. Publicities are several types: simple popunder, interstices and banners. The consequent number of publicities, more than three on the banner page, like their very intrusive character, is prone to controversy.

The neutrality and the impartiality of Freenews are also regularly called into question, because of articles frequently obliging with Free, and systématiquements negative towards competitor FAI.
