Frederic Rossif
Frederic Rossif (born the February 16th 1922 with Cetinje with the Montenegro and dead the April 18th 1990 with Paris) was a Documentariste French.
Biography
Frederic Rossif leaves at 15 years to make studies with Rome before engaging in the Foreign legion, in 1941, in the 13 {{ème}} half-brigade. Fighting against the Nazi Germany, it is found in Paris in 1945. He works with the Saint-Germain Club and attends Sartre, Camus, Boris Vian, Malcolm Lowry, Hemingway.Very active collaborator of French Cineclub since 1948, it organizes for this one, of 1949 to 1950, a festival of avant-garde to Antibes. He enters to ORTF in 1952 and takes part in the creation of Five columns with like with Special editions and the Life of the animals as producer. He also collaborates in the emission Cinépanorama of François Chalais
He specializes in the documentary animalist and the documentary one of assembly with images of files. He collaborates with the musician Vangelis on wild Opéra , the Apocalypse of the animals and From Nuremberg to Nuremberg , finished in 1989. This documentary last recalls the history of the Nazi Germany and the Second world war, of the seizure of power by Hitler in 1933 with the verdict of the Procès of Nuremberg in 1946.
Deceased in 1990, Frederic Rossif is buried with the Cimetière of Montparnasse.
