Francis Poullain

Francis Poullain was the chairman of the Société of application and coating or SAR, undertaken which was at the origin of the Affaire of the HLM of Paris.

Chronology

  • January 20th, 1994: the Head office of the taxes (DGI) transmits to the parquet floor Tribunal of Creteil an investigation into SAR (Société of application and coating), one of the largest companies of painting of the Paris region, based in the the Valley-of-Marne. Its chairman, Francis Poullain, is suspected of having regulated forged invoices in order to obtain markets near offices HLM of the Hauts-de-Seine and Paris. Legal information is entrusted to the judge Eric Halphen. It is the beginning of the Affaire of the HLM of the Hauts-de-Seine and the Affaire of the HLM of Paris.

  • August 3rd, 1994: Francis Poullain is put in examination. It is given in freedom on September 8th, 1994.

  • September 29th, 1994: quoted in the report/ratio of the DGI like one of the supposed recipients of the payments of Francis Poullain, Jean-Claude Méry, property developer, former member of the central committee of the RPR, which is presented in the form of a fund raiser for the formation gaullist, are put in examination and écroué.
