Francique ripuaire
The Francique ripuaire ( Ripoarisch into francic ripuaire; German Ripuarisch in ) is a Germanic Dialecte. Francic the ripuaire constitutes the wing more in the North-West of the group of the dialects Western Means-German of which also part francic the Luxembourg forms, the Francique native of the Moselle region and the Rhenish Francique). Its surface extends primarily in the Land from Rhineland-of-North-Westphalia, with some minor influences on the North of the Land of the Rhineland-Palatinat, the zone of Eupen in Belgium and certain communes bordering with the Netherlands:
- in north, the limit recovers the Ligne of Benrath, which marks the traditional limit between the speeches low-German themselves and their subdivisions average-allemandes;
- in the south, the limits roughly marry the border between the German Länder of Rhineland-of-North-Westphalia and the Rhineland-Palatinat;
- in the west, the limit is between Eupen and Aachen;
- in the east, the limit is estimated around the town of Siegen.
