Forum of the Corporations
The forum of the Corporations is a civil monument of Ostie inaugurated in 42 a. J. - C.
The Place of the Corporations was the center of the Roman maritime trade. Surrounded by a gantry (107 m X 78 m) where the offices and agencies were held of the principal Roman establishments (an about sixty): each one was marked by a mosaic on the ground indicating emblem of speciality and country of treatment (together single of commercial history).
