This prestigious club (unconquered in residence of 1948 with 1960…) is the traditional organizer of the Challenge Béguère, name of its President Antoine Béguère during the 15 gilded years of the post-war period (thus the team then did not count it less than 8 international in activity in 1948 and still 7 in 1958).

1  Because of the events of May 68, the final was disputed with three weeks of delay. At the end of the prescribed time, the two teams were to 6-6, then to 9-9 at the end of the prolongation. Not to have to largely dispute a new final out-season, the FC Doors was stated champion of France to the number of marked tests, 2 compared with any for the RC Toulon.
