the Flight of the rapid ( The Great Train Robbery ), regarded as the first American Western, was carried out by Edwin S. Porter, in 1903.
Synopsis
Four outlaws attack a train. They seize the money while making jump the trunk that it transported, then dévalisent the travellers and escape. Continued, they are killed and the recovered money.
