Synopsis

Adventures of Tsubasa Ohzora, exceptional football player of which the only goal is to offer the Football world cup to the Japan.

It is the history of a young boy of the name of Olivier Atton (Tsubasa Ohzora), who is fan of foot and excellent player. One day, it meets Roberto Sedinho (Roberto Hongô), an universally known player having played for the Brésil. It came to the Japan because the father of Olivier advised a good doctor to him who could look after his separation of Rétine. But it does to nothing but repeat him what the other doctors said to him. Also, Roberto starts to involve Olivier and gives up his prestigious career.

    For the oddment, you will have to fold back yourselves on the mangas 8 to 18 of Captain Tsubasa - World Youth (to see the end of Captain Tsubasa J - World Youth which covers only half of the history). Then, to be able to continue the series, you will have to read the manga Road to 2002, knowing that the series of the same name (that I usually call Captain Tsubasa 2K2), is not a faithful adaptation of the manga, but rather a new mini-history.

    The versions " out-série" animated (not existing in the original manga)

    There exist four other films except Sakyô No Teki! Hollanda Youth. They are visionnables independently of the series like the majority of films drawn from Series TV. The first season of Captain Tsubasa J (Eps 1-33) is a remake (remade design) of the first season of Captain Tsubasa (Eps 1-56). The first two seasons of Captain Tsubasa 2K2: Road to Dream (Eps 1-19) & Road to Sky (20-35) are also of Remakes. The first is a remake of the first series in integrality (Eps 1-128) whereas the second is a remake, continuation of this first series, Shin Captain Tsubasa (including a part on Carlos Santana). The third and last season of Captain Tsubasa 2K2, called Road to 2002 begin with an adaptation of the mangas same name which was rather faithful but which then derived to tell a news " then; mini" history in the place of the continuation of the mangas.

    There exists also several Laser Discs on the first series, which are only pieces of episodes of the first series (Captain Tsubasa) assembled together to make summarized episodes, and which thus do not have any interest, with share for the collectors.
