Flag of California
The flag of California appeared for the first time during the Bear Flag Revolt and was adopted by the Legislature of California in 1911. It is sometimes called the Bear Flag . It was high for the first time at Sonoma the June 14th 1846 by the " Bear Flaggers" carried out by William B. Ide which said to want " to bring freedom to the espagnols". He became president of short the République of California.
The Drapeau modern adoptee in 1911 is white with a red band in bottom. The flag presents the symbol of the state, the Brown bear, representing the force, which turns its head towards a red star located on the left.
