Festival of Lebanese film

The Festival of Lebanese Film ( Lebanese Film Festival ) is an annual cinema festival, which is held with Beirut (Lebanon).

Organized by the production company . .né.à Beirut , the festival is an annual cinematographic appointment (sixth edition in 2007), making it possible to the realizers Lebanese of all edges to project their works and to meet to them public.
It also aims at promoting the Lebanese cinema in Lebanon and abroad like encouraging the Lebanese film production. The festival does not decree a prize list.

The primary goal of this go consists in exploring the memory of Lebanon through its cinematographic memory, and dividing the fruit of our research with the greatest number. The second objective is field of the immediate discovery. The third objective is of social order: to change mentalities and to wake up the population through the cinema.

Since 2004 two new sections were introduced with the programming. It is about the retrospective of a foreign realizer and invitation of a foreign festival. These two windows on the world stimulate the exchange and the ideological debate what places the Festival of Lebanese Film at the first ranks of the cinema festivals at Lebanon
