Festival

A festival is a demonstration in festive matter, organized at fixed time (annually, generally) around an linked activity with the spectacle, the Art S, the Loisir S, etc, and likely to last several days.

The term appeared in the French vocabulary about 1830.

The festival is often the occasion of the handing-over of Trophée S , of price and various rewards.

La Nouvelle-Orléans is the city which organizes the most Festival S in the world: each year, nearly 500 various demonstrations are organized in various districts.
