Ferdinand Lemaire
Ferdinand Lemaire is mainly known today like the librettist of Samson and Dalila of Camille Saint-Saëns, and the author of four melodies of Saint-Saëns, of which Tristesse and Souvenances . He was a simple amateur in the field of the letters and was put in relation to Saint-Saëns thanks to one of the girls of his family.
