Faustulus

According to the Roman Mythology, Faustulus was shepherd and kept the herds of Amulius, king usurping of Alba Longa, when it collected the twins Romulus and Remus, after a she-wolf had nursed them, then raised them in company of his wife Acca Larentia.

These two twins, great nephews of Amulius, were the children of Rhéa Silvia and the god Mars (as claimed it their mother, itself girl of the deposed king: Numitor).
