Fantasía Bética (Manual of Falla)

The Fantasia Bética (or betic Imagination ) is a made up work for Piano of Manuel of Falla in 1919.

The " term; Betica" comes from the novel and indicates the Andalusia. Its writing is posterior with the philosopher's stones of incidental music of the musician (the Tricorne , short Life …), which wrote only little for the piano.

It is about an order of Arthur Rubinstein but this last appreciated relatively little the partition, considered as more austere than preceding works, even if the Flamenco is strongly present there. The first was given by the pianist to New York in 1920 which then any more does not register it in its repertory.

The execution of work requires a little less than one fifteen minutes.
