FMOD

FMOD is a library of management of the sound multiplateforme and available for many languages. The library is now with version 4.03 re-elected in fmod E.G. FMOD is free for a personal use.

Supported formats

DLS - (DownLoadable Sound format for midday playback. Edge also Be used ace has stand alone container format in FMOD)
M3U - (Contains bonds towards audio files. To reach the contents, the API FMOD Ex is used)
ASX - (Contains bonds towards audio files. To reach the contents, the API FMOD Ex is used)
WAX - (Contains bonds towards audio files. To reach the contents, the API FMOD Ex is used)
PLS (see) - (Contains bonds towards audio files. To reach the contents, the API FMOD Ex is used)
AIFF - (Audio Interchange Spins Format)
ASF - (Advanced Streaming Format), includes support of the audio track for the video stream
FLAC (Free Lossless Audio codec) - (codec without loss due to the Data compression)
FSB - (FMOD sample bank format generated by FSBank and FMOD designer tool)
IT - (It does not require DirectX, contrary to other libraries)
MOD - (Protracker/Fasttracker and others sequenced MOD format)
MP2 - (MPEG I/II lays down 2), MP3 - (MPEG I/II lays down 3, including VBR (Variable BitRate) support)
OGG - (Ogg Vorbis format)
RAW - (Raw spins format support. The user can specify the number of channels, the bitdepth , format… etc)
S3M (see) - (ScreamTracker 3 sequenced MOD format)
