Evaristo Nugkuag Ikanan

Evaristo Nugkuag Ikanan (born in 1950) is an ecologist and Peruvian defender of the human rights .

Evaristo Nugkuag is a representative of the indigenous community of the Aguarunas. He studied medicine with Lima.

Nugkuag founded the COICA (Coordination of Organizations Indigènes of the Amazonian Basin) of which the goal is the safeguard of the wet Tropical forest and the protection of the territories of native-born people.
