Eva Serrano

Eva Serrano is a French gymnaste born the April 22nd 1978, with Nimes.

Biography

Eva Serrano begins eurhythmics at the 7 years age to the Rhythmic Club of Nimes. It becomes member of the team of France in 1991 and gains its first championship of France in 1993.

Thereafter, Eva Serrano was crowned 6 times champion of France in 6 years. It climbs the levels of world eurhythmics and, in 1994, finishes 7th with world 1994 which are held with Paris while taking part in all the finales.

With the Olympic Games of Atlanta, in 1996, it finishes 6th open competition, better gymnaste of Western Europe.

Then, it integrates then the center of Orleans.

The gymnaste takes again the drive with Dina Atanassova, its Bulgarian trainer who followed it to Orleans, and Snejana Mladenova.

With the championships of the world of Berlin in 1997, Eva Serrano gains 2 bronze medals, one with the ribbon, the other with the hoop.

These rewards made of it the first world French medal-holder of eurhythmics of the history. It finishes 6th with the open competition.

The following year, with the championships of Europe of Oporto, it gains 2 more medals: money with the bludgeons and bronze with the hoop. It also obtains the 4th place with the open competition.

With the championships of Europe, which proceeded with Budapest in 1999: it obtains the bronze medal with the open competition and the ribbon. It takes down one 4th place with the general with the championships of the world.

In the year 2000, it obtains a championship of Europe to the hoop, one second place with the ribbon and a participation in the Olympic Games of Sydney. It withdrew in December of this same year.

Today, Eva is trainer in Montpellier (France).
