European managements and labor
The European managements and labor are organizations representing the workers and employers and taking part in the European Social dialog.
The European commission has indeed as an obligation to consult different Managements and labor before presenting proposals in the social domain (article 138 of treaty EC). The implementation of the diary of Lisbon implies the active participation of managements and labor.
Managements and labor sit at the Economic and Social Committee European, and meet, each year, the heads of government and the president of the Commission at the time of the tripartite social top for the growth and employment.
The role of managements and labor and the autonomous social dialog is envisaged, for the first time, in the constitutional treaty in the process of ratification (I-48 article).
The currently recognized partners are:

- the European Confederation of the trade unions (and the committee of connection Eurocadres/CEC)

For the employers:
- BUSINESSEUROPE for the privately held companies (and UEAPME for SME)
- CEEP for the public employers.
