Geologically, Eurasia includes/understands neither the sub-continent Indien (which belongs to Oceania), neither the peninsula Arabique (which is also a sub-continent) nor Philippines (who are on the Pacifique plate).

With the geopolitical direction the Eurasia is the heartland, i.e. the " Ground of Milieu" (which corresponds overall to the old USSR) opposed to the thalassocratic powers (Great Britain, the United States). This concept gave rise to a political ideology: the Eurasisme.
